Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus met in 1996 and soon became close friends.  They spent many hours hiking and praying in the Colorado Rockies near their home.  During their “holy hikes,” they talked of the great need among Christian women to know God’s perspective on sex.  Intimate Issues was the answer to this need.

Shortly after Intimate Issues was published, Linda and Lorraine’s phones began ringing, “Will you come speak on Intimate Issues?”  Thus the Intimate Issues Conferences were born.  At the conferences, mothers repeatedly said, “Oh we wish this beautiful view of sexuality was available for my daughters.”  The book, Gift-wrapped by God was birthed and God graciously brought Nancy Barton to teach the singles at the Intimate Issues Conferences. 

Over the years, many women have said, “We wish our husbands could understand the biblical perspective on sex.”  So a book for couples, Intimacy Ignited was co-authored by Linda and her husband Jody and Lorraine and her husband, Peter.  Now, Intimacy Ignited Conferences are given where couples can learn to ignite intimacy in their marriages by becoming Servant Lovers.
